Huntley

This site is a courtyard which had been redesigned by a commercial landscaper. The clients came for assistance as the space lacked cohesion and the plantings were banal. The redesign focused on plant selection (heliconia, citrus, camellia, rosemary, and other) which would add texture, color, scent, and seasonal interest. The addition of empty terracotta pots smooths out the composition of the space and provides dynamic opportunities for different lighting, planting of vegetables, and annual flowers. This flexible use feature allows the often travelling couple a chance to garden on their own schedule.
